Refund policy
Welcome to Lil’s Rentals <3 We want your hire experience to be just as seamless as slipping into the perfect dress. Because we’re a rental business, our returns and refunds policy works a little differently than traditional retail — so here’s everything you need to know.
Cancellations
• If you cancel 7+ days before your booking start date, you’ll receive a full credit note to use towards your next hire.
• If you cancel within 7 days of your booking, we can’t offer a refund or credit as the dress has already been secured for you.
Refunds
• We do not provide refunds for change of mind, incorrect sizing, or if you simply don’t wear the dress.
• Please check sizing and availability with us on Instagram DM before booking if you’re unsure.
Fit Issues
We don’t provide refunds or credits for sizing/fit issues, as the final decision is yours at the time of booking. We’re always happy to help with sizing advice beforehand — just reach out to us.
Damages & Late Returns
• Dresses must be returned in the same condition you received them.
• Any damage, staining, or loss may result in repair, dry-cleaning, or replacement fees (deducted from your bond).
• Late returns incur a fee of $10 per day, deducted from your bond.
Refundable Bond
All hires require a security bond, which will be refunded once your dress is returned on time and in its original condition.
Shipping Returns
• If you’ve booked via postal hire, your dress must be lodged at the post office on or before the agreed return date using the provided prepaid satchel.
• Late lodgement counts as a late return.
Credits & Gift Cards
• Any credit notes issued are valid for 12 months and can be used across any hire.
• Credits and gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
